Workinholidays.com works closely with a fantastic farm in Bingara, a country town on the banks of the Gwydir River, about an hour outside of Tamworth, New South Wales, the 'Counrty Music Capital' of Australia, about 5 hours from Sydney.
This is a great way to start your workin holiday! You will do a lot of horse riding along and through the beautiful river, you can take a dip in one of the beautiful waterholes and swim with your horse. You will stay in a great homestead cottage and enjoy yummy home cooked meals.
At night you  will kick back on the veranda or around the campfire and enjoy a yarn (that’s a chat) with your new friends and  look up at the stars which go on forever!
If you are an beginner rider you will be well catered for with a one on one instruction that enables you to gain skills fast while taking part in the action and if you are an experienced rider you will enjoy the best riding of your life!
The farm is a cattle and horse farm and in September each year there are about 70 foals being born on the place. John will be your host, and he is a fantastic horseman and stock man and youwill work along side him in his day to day jobs, working with young horses, handling foals, mustering cattle/horses, working cattle in the yards and learn how to crack that whip!
This is as true an Ozzie outback adventure as you can get!
